Dear IWCO Students,Happy New Year!!!
On the last day of 2011, I would like to say a few words on behalf of International Wing Chun Organization.
other former USSR countries such as Lithuania, Kazahstan … etc. On top of this, schools at Dubai of UAE and Stockholm of Sweden were set up and growing very well.
IWCO kept actively taking part in international competition. In April, we attended the European Wushu Competition held in Estonia.
Our school’s result is encouraging, 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal were awarded.
We shall take part the “2012 Ip Man Cup World Wing Chun Invitational Tournament” held in Foshan in mid January to let our students gaining more experience and exposure.
Talking about competition, IWCO organized the first inter-IWCO schools competitions in May this year in St Petersburg. More than 200 students from 22 cities took part in
this competition.
We shall hold more competitions to gain friendly exchange experience and test the practically of skills leant in the coming years.
The grading system of IWCO is well accepted by our students. More than 300 students across Europe had taken the grading examinations.
Over 60 seminars range from beginner seminar to advanced Mui Fa Joang and referee seminars were successfully held in different countries.
IWCO had organized a special event this year. The Headquarters school had organized a Wing Chun team to attend the Oxfam Trail Walkers for poverty.
We have raised HK$13,396.10 for Oxfam. IWCO is more participative and caring the society.
